Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he has once again postponed his No More Tours 2 trek featuring support from Judas Priest. The European outing will now be taking place in the spring of 2023

The Euro leg of the Black Sabbath’s legend’s farewell tour was originally set to take place 2019 but has been rescheduled several times. The new dates have been revealed and tickets for the original stops will be valid for the new shows. (read more)


(hennemusic) AC/DC have scored three nominations for the 2022 Grammy Awards ceremony with their latest studio album, “Power Up,” including best rock album honors.

The Recording Academy unveiled the list on Tuesday for the 64th event, which sees the band’s 2020 record as a contender for Best Rock Album (alongside projects by Foo Fighters, Chris Cornell, Paul McCartney, and Black Pumas), while the set’s lead single, “Shot In The Dark”, was recognized as a finalist in the Best Rock Performance and Best Music Video categories. The Eagles have announced that they will extended their popular Hotel California Tour into 2022 with a new leg that will visit various U.S. cities early next year.

The special trek features the band, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill, joined by an orchestra and choir for a performance of the entire classic album, followed by a set of the band’s hits. (read more)


The new documentary, “NEEDTOBREATHE: Into The Mystery”, is available on demand (including iTunes / Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video) starting today, following the nationwide screening in movie theaters earlier this month.

The intimate documentary chronicles the recording of the band s latest album, while quarantined in a historic house-turned-recording studio in remote Tennessee in fall of 2020. (read more)


Of Mice & Men have shared a visualizer video for their brand new single “Echo”. The song is the title track to their forthcoming album, which is set to hit stores on December 3rd.

Aaron Pauley had this to say, “‘Echo’ is a song about one’s growing sensitivity to the transient nature of life, and one’s awareness to the similarities between the current human experience and human experiences of the past.” (read more)


(hennemusic) Mastodon rocked their “Hushed And Grim” track, “Teardrinker”, on the November 23 episode of NBC-TV’s Late Night with Seth Meyers and video from the appearance has been shared online.

The tune was the second single from the group’s eighth studio album, which they recorded with in their hometown of Atlanta, GA with producer David Bottrill. (read more)


(hennemusic) The Foo Fighters earned multiple nominations for the 2022 Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy announced Tuesday. The band’s 2021 album, “Medicine At Midnight”, will compete with records by AC/DC, Black Pumas, Chris Cornell and Paul McCartney for Best Rock Album of the year.

Co-produced by the band and Greg Kurstin, the project debuted at No. 1 in the UK and at No. 3 on the US Billboard 200. Two tracks from the set were also recognized: “Making A Fire” is a finalist for Best Rock Performance, while “Waiting On A War” sees all six members of the group named for the songwriters award Best Rock Song. I first heard the word ‘Pillbilly’ while watching a prison documentary about middle aged Kentucky women who were repeatedly caught and incarcerated for selling drugs to their friends and neighbors in the Appalachian Mountains. (continue)
